The Theory Test There are over 1,000 questions in the question bank from which questions will be chosen at random to ensure that each of the candidates taking the test at the same time has a different set of questions to answer.
The test is simple and self - explanatory, using touch - screen technology.
Each candidate can progress at their own pace through the five stages of the test. Candidates are allowed sixty minutes to complete the multiple choice test and the hazard perception test. |
 | The theory test contains 50 questions, test candidates have to successfully answer 43 questions correctly in order to achieve a pass.
The Hazard Perception Test This test starts with a short introduction on how the hazard perception test works and also what you are required to do. For practice purposes 15 minutes is set aside so that candidates can familiarise themselves with the system.
You will then be shown 14 video clips lasting one minute per clip. Overall, there will be 15 hazards to find - at least one on each clip. However, one clip will show two hazards. To be successful on this part of the exam the candidate has to achieve 44 out of 75.
When the candidate has successfully achieved 43 out of 50 on the theory test, and 44 out of 75 on the hazard perception test in one sitting, then a pass certificate will be awarded.
GOOD LUCK FROM EVERYONE AT OAKWELL.
