| We at Oakwell School of Motoring encourage all instructors to reach for the top of their profession and aim for a top grade 6.
Peter, our personal trainer from Oakwell School of Motoring is a top grade 6 instructor with a full set of sixes.
Our strong belief is: Poor Preparation = Poor Presentation
There are still only 7% of ADIs on the DSA register of about 41,000 that achieve a grade 6 so why not contact Oakwell School of Motoring and let us help you achieve that prestigious grade.
For qualified ADIs who have a check test due and are getting worried, many ADI's have taken further training with Peter Cook to ensure that they are thoroughly prepared for their checktest. Wait no longer, this is your future. If you want to excel, then ring Oakwell.
At Oakwell School of Motoring we structure the course accordingly: (The session is two-hours in duration)
A discussion on the Check Test requirements. |
A one - hour assessment of your instructional ability on a normal driving lesson or role play scenario which ever you prefer. |
A full written report on your strengths and weaknesses plus immediate feedback.
Re - Training check-test sessions.
Oakwell School of Motoring has realised that because of the higher standards now required for instructors to achieve the minimum acceptable grade of 4, many are worried about their check test.
Especially with more and more ADIs being removed from the register for giving substandard tuition than ever before.
Oakwell School of Motoring has designed this course for ADIs who have been advised by their Supervising Examiner (SE) to seek further training and advice before doing their next check test and / or who have received an unacceptable grade.
The session is two - hours in duration and it consists of:
Analysing the last check test report and recommendations (immediate feedback). |
Trainer to role-play pupil on a lesson to further improve your instructing skills and techniques and discuss a role play checktest. |
Discussions on the Core Competencies, Check Test form, What the examiner is looking for, and what pupil to present on the day. |
Following this structured training session you will be more knowledgeable with regard to:
1. How to carry out a perfect check test whether it is with a pupil or a role play scenario.
2. Further improved teaching techniques, and a more improved knowledge on the check test requirements and check test form.
3. Higher knowledge on the core competencies, what pupil to present for your check test, how the check test should be structured.
